Commissioned by GIFFEST for the 2023 edition. M_Error is a response to the theme for the exhibition, IMPERFECT. Presented alongside an illustrated work, they form a conceptual diptych that responds to the theme. 

The piece begins with a black tv screen placed behind a semi-transparent 2 way mirror. As visitors would walk through the exhibtion, they might pause at the mirror to ‘check’ their fit. Their presence triggers the work to come to life with a digital avatar representing the visitor. The avatars are created to be too tall, wide or stockish and they follow the visitor’s actions and movements through body tracking from the kinect.
